For the concrete poetry my word is “Suing” which was a bit confusing to develop ideas around. I was thinking about memes about Taylor Swift or Sabrina Carpenter’s single “Sue Me” from her latest album. However I wanted to make it just a tad more serious.

As a class we’re going to work on the animation graphic together. WordPress is also being irritating, it wont let me successful upload my SVG file. I finished and uploaded the exercises to my blog as well as my uploaded a lot of album covers I designed on my free time over the past year and last week.

Professor Cromar left class sick. He instructed us to use our time wisely to continue to finish our exercises. I had already completed my Text Effect last semester. I completed the exercises.

Today in class we continued our studies using photoshop exercises. The biggest thing I’ve learned today was how to properly apply the usage of “Kerning and Tracking”. Learning about this will help me better develop more precise placements of text in my future designs.

Today I learned how to update my blog through the admin section of word press.
I emailed Cromar my links that he asked for. I completed the texture.pdf exercise. I started the “Creating web-ready Graphics”. That exercise was confusing as I’ve used the curves and levels tools in not the way it’s instructed in the tutorials. I hope to better understand how to continue to develop skills for a software I thought I was very proficient at. I will be finished the exercise by Thursday as I only have to work with the colour wheel.

Today we went over the Syllabus for the class.
We started the process of how to HTML with replacing pictures used on a demo for a website by replacing those stock photos with works of ours.
I have to use Photoshop and make JPEG versions of my work as I prefer the higher quality used with PNG, however my preference doesn’t matter in this sense due to the functions of the HTML file.
