Designed in Adobe Illustrator as a potential logo for a mock record label. I found the process fairly easy to design this logo. The logo could potentially change down the road but for now I’m proud of this logo.

Thesis Statement + Diagram
This project is an audio and marketing package focusing on the distribution of digital and analog formats of a compilation album. Due to streaming services, the sales of Vinyl and CDs have plummeted. While Vinyl sales have been starting to rise over recent years the sales of CDs have barley started to gain traction but as of recent there are CD exclusive releases. This project came into mind with the intention of helping boost sales of both Vinyl and CD releases. There is something special when owning a Vinyl or CD. You get to hold an artists copy of their work whether that maybe the audio on the Vinyl or CD. As well as the packaging that was designed for that project. With streaming services you as a consumer loose a sense of ownership, touch and quality of audio.

Compilation Album – Back to the Dancefloor
This a concept compilation album that will consist of two separate track listings of material by various artist’s. The first collection will focus on a “Love Story” narrative with the songs that deal with passion/lust, heartbreak, confusion, reflection and of course love. The second collection has a fan favorite narrative, while it doesn’t have a strong story line the material does include rarities/b-sides, singles, latest releases and of course fan favorites. What makes this compilation different from others is that the “Love Story Collection” and “Fan Favorites Collection” cohesively flows from start to finish. The compilation has a global feel to it as the artists are from Europe, Australia, Korea and Dominican-American. The genre of this compilation can be summed up as a Pop and Dance album that has influences from the genres of House, Eurodance, EDM, R&B, Synth-Pop, Dance-Pop, Electropop, as well as a few touches of country, folk, and Latin pop.
The CD formatting for the compilation album will be a 2 Discs set and the standard 16 tracks as well as 6 exclusive Deluxe Bonus Tracks only for the CD release. Digital formats follow the same track listing minus the Bonus Tracks.
